How We Grade Pre-Owned Items

Every item on SBS Pre-Owned has been individually inspected, tested, and graded by our team. Here’s what each grade means:

Like New

Unused or as-new condition. All accessories included. Original packaging may be opened or missing. You’d be hard-pressed to tell it from new.

Example: TV returned sealed, box opened for inspection only.

Good

Minor cosmetic marks only. Fully functional and tested. May have light scratches or scuffs not visible from normal viewing distance.

Example: Laptop with light mark on lid, perfect screen.

Fair

Visible wear or cosmetic damage. Fully functional. May be missing non-essential accessories. All defects are described and photographed.

Example: Washing machine with dent on side panel, works perfectly.

Acceptable

Significant cosmetic wear. Fully functional with noted limitations. May be missing accessories. Best value — all defects clearly described.

Example: Vacuum cleaner with heavy scratches, all functions work.
